The free training sessions, funded through the NIEL Challenge Fund, is aimed at those involved with red squirrel groups who are keen to raise awareness of red squirrel conservation in their local community through working with schools and community groups.  Through this course, participants will be introduced to ways of planning and structuring these sessions as well as suitable activities for a range of audiences.  We will also consider how to maximise the impact of these sessions in order to widen participation in red squirrel conservation.
This course will be led by Heather McDowell, an environmental educator at FSC Derrygonnelly.
