DDCP Monthly Meeting on Monday 8th June – extended invite to parents to discuss childcare facilities

One of the short-term issues identified in the Partnership’s Feasibility Report which was published earlier this year was the lack of childcare facilities in the local area. Many local parents are sending their children to Enniskillen nurseries and/or are faced with difficulties balancing work with getting their children to and from our local schools.

This is one of the key issues to be discussed at Monday’s DDCP meeting, and we would like to extend an invitation to parents to come along and make their views known about childcare (or the lack of) in the area, and what they would like to see in the village. Is there a need for a nursery, breakfast-club, after-school club, etc? We would like to hear your views and opinions, and we would like to encourage as many as possible to attend.

The meeting will be held in the Derrygonnelly Methodist Church at 8pm on Monday 8th June. Refreshments will be served.
