Community Planning – We Want to Hear Your Views!

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is leading a community planning process for the new district. This means that it will work in partnership with statutory agencies and the community, voluntary and business sectors to plan for and improve services that matter to local people, eg, arts, culture and heritage, education, employment, the environment, health and infrastructure.

It is important to us that local people get involved and have their say so that our new Community Plan is informed by local needs and priorities. Initial community meetings will take place on the following dates:

Social issues (e.g. arts, culture & heritage, education, community safety, community support, health).
Wednesday 24 June 7:00 pm South West College, Enniskillen or
Thursday 16 July 2:00 pm Dromore Sports Centre, Dromore
Economic issues (e.g. local economy, employment, support for businesses, infrastructure)
Monday 22 June 7:00 pm Omagh Leisure Complex or
Monday 27 July 2:00 pm Castle Park Leisure Centre, Lisnaskea
Environmental issues
(e.g. natural resources, renewable energy, biodiversity)
Monday 29 June 7:00 pm Derrygonnelly Community Centre or
Wednesday 29 July 2:00 pm Owenkillew Centre, Gortin
Special Meeting
A special meeting combining all three strands will take place on:
Wednesday 29 July 7:00 pm Bawnacre Centre, Irvinestown
