A Horticultural Therapy Programme to help with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and lack of social confidence

A Horticultural Therapy programme is being run on Fridays for a period of 10 weeks from 20 May on the Cooneen Road, Fivemiletown.

This programme is designed to help with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and lack of social confidence.

Participants will grow vegetables, herbs and other plants in a poly tunnel or raised beds. The therapeutic benefits of gardening will be enhanced by taking time to talk within the group or individually with the facilitators.  A range of mindfulness techniques will be included.

The programme is free.
