Tir Navar looking to the future
As most people will be aware, the running of the Tir Navar complex was recently taken over by the family of Liam & Amy Jones following a period of uncertainty with regards to the future of the facilities. We are happy to hear that the Tir Navar’s current services will continue as before, as well as there being new and exiting projects in the pipeline.
Having received the keys to the complex on May 12th, Liam and Amy Jones have already set their mark on Tir Navar and are now serving cooked lunch Monday to Friday between 12pm and 2pm. This service will be running throughout the summer. There will also be a coffee bar available from next week.
The Tir Navar Complex will continue to cater for the community groups and businesses which already avail of their facilities, and they are keen to welcome new groups and also private functions. Part of their short-term plans will be to upgrade the facilities which include the restaurant and accommodation.
Sporting 18 bedrooms with a total capacity of 60 guests, Tir Navar offer comfortable yet affordable accommodation to suit all needs. All rooms are en suite, with a laundrette and communal kitchen both available to guests. The restaurant has a total capacity of 80 seating and boasts free Wifi and a licensed bar.
Having spoken with Liam Jones about his family’s new venture, he says they are very excited about the possibilities and prospects of Tir Navar, and they are looking forward to get stuck into their new venture.
The Derrygonnelly & District Community Partnership are very pleased to see the continuation and development of such an important part of our locality, and we wish the Jones’ family all the very best.
