FODC 2030 Community Plan – Workshop in Derrygonnelly on Thursday 27th October
The first Community Plan for Fermanagh and Omagh ‘Fermanagh and Omagh 2030 Community Plan’ was launched for consultation on the 3rd October for a period of 8 weeks and is attached for your information – click here.
The Community Plan is a long term strategy aimed at improving quality of life and well-being, as well as improving public services in the Fermanagh and Omagh area.
It will be delivered through a new and innovative partnership involving the public, private and community/voluntary sectors, all working together to achieve a shared vision of a ‘vibrant, living place where people enjoy improved prosperity and wellbeing in a safe, shared, connected and sustainable environment’.
The document, together with a Strategic Environmental Assessment Report are available for public consultation and are attached for your information click here.
A series of public workshops to facilitate consultation and discussion on both the Community Plan and the Strategic Environmental Assessment will be facilitated in the coming weeks. There will be one held in Derrygonnelly Community Centre on Thursday 27th October at 7pm, and we would invite you to attend.
